This is a little piece I did based on an embroidered square from Afghanistan - an event organised by Pascale Goldenberg to help the women there buy equipment.Had a good time in Berlin but it was freezing! Saw quite a bit of the Jewish & war histories which I found deeply moving but also couldn't take too much more of it. Visited museums, galleries and heard a concert - but not with the Berlin Philharmonic unfortunately.
I had a good day with the Drome Journées d'Amitiés and everyone enjoyed the 3 h course. But the technical side of trying to give a slide show using the computer remains, as it has each time, a nightmare. Tried 4 computers and all morning (someone else not me) to get the thing compatible with the projecteur. What is the answer?
Am working on my entry for St Marie aux Mines competition so will show it when it's possible to do so.
I have been invited to teach again in Australia next year so I'm very happy about that.

On a passé un bon séjour à Berlin mais il faisait trés froid. On a vu beacoup de choses sur la guerre et les Juifs, trés emouvant mais dur. Visites aux musés et aux galleries et on a entendu un concert - pas le Berlin Philharmonic. J'ai passé une belle journée avec la Drome Journée de l'Amitiés et tout le monde a aimé bien le cours de 3h. Beaucoup de problèmes techniques pour la conférence/projection d'images utilisant l'ordi + projecteur. C'est toujours comme ça il me semble. Mon oeuvre pour le concours SMAM avance et sera bientôt terminé. On va voir si elle est acceptée.
Je suis invitée d'enseigner encore une fois en Australie l'année prochaine alors je suis bien contente.
